Here are some ways to make conference an amazing experience for you!
- Talk to people: Talk to whoever you can, the more connections you have the better. Making friends can make your time way more enjoyable, and those connections can stay for a long time.
- Debate: When you participate in debates more, you become more involved. When you become more involved, you become more interested. And when you get more interested, you have a better time. Of course, you don’t need to debate if you don’t want to, but the more you participate, the more your skills will develop and the better of a time you will have.
- Run for election: Whatever position you run for will add a lot of involvement to your conference experience. Running for election in a program can help you develop leadership skills, as well as build connections with other people.
- Evening activities: Go to an evening activity that you find interesting, and you will be sure to find people with common interests. Evening activities are a very good chance for you to mingle with others, and is a great time to make new friends.
- Talent show: The YIG talent show is a very fun time for everyone. Whether you watch the show or partake in it, it can be a nice chance to see what people’s talents are that you might not always see at first glance.
- Sleep: Although sleep may not be super high on many people’s list of priorities, getting a good night’s sleep is very important. Without enough sleep, you will be more exhausted the next day, which can make the day more difficult to get through and lead you to participate less.
