Q – What inspired you to pursue a role in model United Nations?
A – I was elected in media for Youth in Government and decided to try media in Model United Nations too. When I got here, I loved the team so much and decided I should take the opportunity to run for Media Director at MUN as well.
Q – What advice would you offer to someone considering getting involved in model UN for the first time?
A – Take chances! Its important to take advantage of any way to put yourself out there. Whether it is through the talent show, running for an elected position, or saying hi to someone new! You never know what outcome an opportunity will give you
Q – Can you describe a memorable friendship or connection you formed with another participant during your involvement in model UN?
A – My first year in MUN, I got the opportunity to interview random people with trivia questions! I ended up creating lots of friendships, I even got to appoint one of the people I interviewed to media the following year!
